A delegation led by the Director of the National Climate Change Secretariat of the Strategy Group of the Prime Minister's Office of Singapore visited JinkoSolar, convening in-depth discussions pertaining to the evolution of N-type TOPCon photovoltaic technology, vertical integration of production capabilities, and the repercussions of climate change on energy transition

JinkoSolar leveraged the occasion to showcase its pioneering prowess in research and development, as well as its advanced automation and digitalized manufacturing processes. The spotlight of the presentation was on JinkoSolar's trailblazing Tiger Neo module, featuring a remarkable power output of 635W, exemplary efficiency, an unprecedented bifacial factor of up to 85%, and exhibiting a low-temperature coefficient alongside low LID.

Moreover, the delegation demonstrated significant interest in JinkoSolar's high-efficiency N-type TOPCon Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) products, engaging in extensive discussions regarding high power generation and energy storage applications. The delegation commended its space-saving installation and usage advantages, achieved through the use of frameless double-glass modules. They also appreciated its ability to maintain high power generation efficiency, even in the absence of dust accumulation.

JinkoSolar also had the honor of presenting its notable achievements in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices to the Singapore government delegation. As the first solar photovoltaic company to join the RE100 and EP100 initiatives in 2019, JinkoSolar aspires to achieve 100% renewable energy usage across all global factories and operations by 2028. The company has implemented a comprehensive climate change management system, encompassing governance, strategy, risk management, and performance metrics and targets, fostering sustainable green transformation within its internal operations. In November 2021, JinkoSolar officially joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), solemnly pledging to attain "net-zero emissions" of greenhouse gases along its value chain before 2050. This commitment not only applies internally but extends to the external supply chain, propelling green sustainable development. Additionally, JinkoSolar, with its cutting-edge TOPCon technology, continuously innovative photovoltaic techniques, and highly reliable photovoltaic components, energy storage systems (ESS), Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) products, provides the world with clean, safe, economically viable, and intelligent solar power solutions, offering robust support for global climate change mitigation efforts.

Director Heng Jian Wei of the National Climate Change Secretariat of the Strategy Group of the Prime Minister's Office of Singapore emphasized Singapore's proactive stance on climate change and the energy transition, and its commitment to maximise the potential of solar energy. JinkoSolar perceives a potential to utilize Jinko Tiger Neo high-efficiency modules and Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) technology in solar installations in Singapore, offering the significant advantage of reduced land area requirements for installation. The Singapore government delegation expressed interest in BIPV technology, as it seamlessly integrates solar panels into building structures, effectively utilizing surface space and providing an efficient clean energy solution within Singapore's limited land resources. The collaborative dialogue between JinkoSolar and the Singapore government is an example of how companies and governments can work together to combat climate change and secure a more sustainable future for all.
