JinkoSolar Supplies 14MWh of Liquid Cooling Utility Scale ESS Suntera for Japan Project
← 返回列表页JinkoSolar signs an agreement to supply 14MWh of its SunTera liquid cooling energy storage systems for a solar-plus-storage project in Fukuoka-shi, Japan. These containerized ESS will be incorporated into an existing solar system, and the project was invested and developed by one of the largest petroleum companies in Japan.
JinkoSolar’s all-scenario liquid cooling energy storage solutions cover application scenarios of power generation, power transmission and distribution, and power consumption. SunTera, modular outdoor liquid cooling LFP BESS features the temperature difference among cells being controlled within 2 degrees Celsius. The temperature uniformity plus smart string scheme minimizes between-battery mismatch, and avoids bucket effect, utilizing the system charging potential to the most. As a result, its cycle life can be up to 10,000 cycles, and the round-trip efficiency (RTE) is more than 94%.
In addition to 8,000-10,000 cycles and industry-leading system charging and discharging efficiency RTE 94% and above, the most important feature of JinkoSolar’s SunTera preferred by customers is its high level of safety which passed the stringent safety grading assessment. Five layers of safety protection including fire earlier detection and warning, 1300 Celsius degrees heat-resistant insulation coating applied to the entire pack ceiling, insulation sheets and plates extra added between batteries and in each rack, pressure relief, aerosol plus water fire suppression, explosion-proof devices installed in each cabinet, all these ensure the system is thoroughly protected.
